Writer, poet, translator, assistant professor at the Institute of English Studies at the University of Warsaw. She debuted in 2000 with the poetic volume November on the Narew, for which she was awarded the Polish Society of Book Publishers. Author of several collections of poems, short stories and longer prose pieces, including the Nike award-nominated novel Weightless (2015). Winner of the prize Wisława Szymborska for the volume of Psalms (2018) and the Austrian Hubert Burda Award (2005). In 2015, Fiedorczuk published the book Cyborg in the garden. Introduction to ecocriticism, a year later she obtained her postdoctoral degree based on the cycle entitled: Ecopoetics and the conventions of 20th century American poetry. Together with Gerardo Beltrán, he runs the portal www.ekopoetyka.org. Her songs have been translated into over 20 languages, including Welsh, Japanese and Icelandic. He lives in Warsaw and Serock, where the Bug joins Narew. In March, she will publish her new novel "Under the sun".
