We live in time of profound changes. We now need more mindfulness and focus on values than ever before. Global food and water crises, as well as resource scarcity, penetrate our everyday lives, also in Poland. We cannot solve new problems by old methods. The time has come for action.
Each edition of GDD is a pretext to raise issues related to broadly understood design in the context of changes that are taking place in our environment. Check what values we base our actions on.
1. We are convinced that a way to overcome the crisis and chaos is to deepen relationships with other people and nature. We try to focus on the common good to create a sustainable economy based not on growth but on social well-being.
2. We are aware that only dialogue and openness will bring wise solutions. We create a platform for discussion and creative problem solving.
3. We create and strengthen attitudes related to a balanced approach and pro-ecological consumer orientation.
4. We believe that design is a factor that drives innovation and a strategic tool to provoke changes in business.
5. We inspire and educate business representatives and connect them with designers. We promote cooperation.
6. We follow the principles of circular economics. We believe that design as a tool helps organizations to take actions related to sustainable development.
7. We support initiatives that are aimed at reducing the amount of waste generated.
8. We support designers and solutions aimed at finding new, more sustainable materials.
9. A balanced healthy approach to technology is important to us. Mindfulness should accompany us in every sphere of our lives.
10. We take the challenge and we know that the time to act is now. You can be the change.
